Who we are

Choom.gg is a fan-made companion app for the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game: a card database, deck builder, and collection tracker. This policy explains what data the site handles and why. Choom.gg is not affiliated with CD Projekt Red or WeirdCo.

What we collect

• Account data. If you create an account we store your email address (or the email provided by Discord sign-in), a display name, and the profile details you choose to add. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
• Your content. Decks, guides, binder entries, collection data, match results, and achievements you create are stored so the app can work. Content you mark public (published guides, public decks) is visible to other visitors.
• Payments. Tips, memberships, and guide purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store the transaction record (amount, date, what was purchased) needed to grant what you paid for.
• Usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which are cookieless, plus first-party event counters (for example, that a deck was exported) to understand which features are used.
• Device storage. The app keeps working data in your browser (localStorage): your theme, deck-builder drafts, binder cache, and dismissed notices. This stays on your device.

Advertising

To cover hosting costs, some pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads, including personalized ads where you have consented. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), a consent banner lets you accept or reject advertising cookies before any are set, and ads are non-personalized without consent.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed by the services the site is built on: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Stripe (payments), and Google (advertising, where enabled). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Account data and content are kept while your account exists. You can delete decks, guides, and collection entries at any time from the app. To delete your account and associated personal data, contact us through the community Discord (linked on the Resources page) and we will action it. Transaction records are retained as required for accounting.

Children

Choom.gg is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and its date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
